Lessons
The recipe management and home cook enthusiast crowd is very diverse. The way people find new recipes has changed a lot over the years. People used to sit down at a desk and find recipes via recipe sites on their laptop/desktop. Nowadays, mobile is the main way people find and discover new recipes. Through not just recipe sites, but recipe social media profiles.
Leaning into native platform (iOS, Android) components and features was important, considering this was a mobile-only product. This meant strategizing about what features to implement and release, depending on the platform.
